Terms of Service

Last updated: September 15, 2026 Governed by the laws of the Czech Republic
On this page

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website crystalskins.store and the purchase of digital in-game items through it. Please read them carefully. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Digital Axis s.r.o., a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Czech Republic, registration number C 452692, with its registered office at Podskalská 1512/22, Nové Město, 128 00, Prague 2, Czech Republic, and registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague (“CrystalSkins“, “we”, “us” or “our”).

You can contact us at any time at support@crystalskins.store or through the contact form on our Contact page.

2. Definitions

  • “Service” means the website crystalskins.store and all related features, content and functionality.
  • “Item” or “Skin” means a Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) in-game cosmetic item offered for sale on the Service and delivered as digital content to your Steam account.
  • “Steam” means the digital distribution platform operated by Valve Corporation, including the Steam trading system.
  • “Trade URL” means the unique Steam trade offer link you provide so that we can deliver an Item to your Steam inventory.
  • “Order” means your request to purchase one or more Items through the Service.
  • “Consumer” means a natural person who acts wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

3. Eligibility and accounts

To use the Service and purchase Items you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
  • hold a valid Steam account in good standing that is able to send and receive trade offers; and
  • provide accurate, current and complete information, including a valid Trade URL, and keep it up to date.

You access the Service and authenticate primarily through Steam. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account and for keeping your credentials and Steam account secure. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. The Service and what we sell

CrystalSkins is an online store that sells CS2 cosmetic Items as digital content. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we sell Items from our own stock and deliver them directly to your Steam account via the Steam trading system; we are a store, not a peer-to-peer trading platform.

Items are virtual, in-game cosmetic objects. They have no monetary value outside of the applicable game and platform, are subject to the rules of Valve Corporation and Steam, and may be affected by changes those third parties make to their games or services. We are an independent business and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation.

5. Prices, taxes and currency

All prices are displayed on the Service in euro (EUR) and are the prices in effect at the moment you place your Order. Because Item prices are linked to live market data, they may change frequently until an Order is placed; the price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your Order.

Prices are inclusive of any applicable value added tax (VAT) unless stated otherwise. Any taxes, fees or charges applied by your bank, card issuer or payment provider are your responsibility.

6. Orders and formation of the contract

The display of Items on the Service is an invitation to treat and not a binding offer. When you place an Order, you make an offer to purchase the selected Item(s) at the stated price. A binding contract of sale is formed only when we confirm the Order and begin its fulfilment (typically by initiating delivery of the Item to your Steam account). Where we are unable to accept an Order, we will notify you and refund any payment already taken for that Order.

7. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include debit and credit cards and PayPal, processed by our third-party payment providers. Payment is taken at the time you place your Order. By submitting payment details you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

We may carry out fraud, sanctions and verification checks and may refuse, cancel or hold an Order where a payment is declined, appears fraudulent, or cannot be verified.

8. Delivery of Items

Items are delivered digitally to the Steam account associated with the Trade URL you provide. Delivery normally takes place within a short time after successful payment, but timing can depend on factors outside our control, including:

  • an incorrect, expired or private Trade URL;
  • Steam trade holds, Steam Guard restrictions, or a trade ban on your account;
  • Steam maintenance, outages or rate limits; and
  • additional verification we reasonably require.

You are responsible for ensuring your Steam account is able to receive the trade. If delivery cannot be completed for reasons attributable to you and is not resolved within a reasonable period after we ask you to act, we may cancel the Order in accordance with our Refund Policy.

9. Digital content and your right of withdrawal

Items are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium and that is delivered immediately after purchase.

By placing an Order you expressly request and consent to immediate performance (immediate delivery of the Item), and you acknowledge that you will thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the Item has been delivered to your Steam account. Accordingly, once an Item has been delivered, the 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to distance contracts no longer applies to that Item.

Nothing in this section affects your rights where an Item is not delivered, is delivered incorrectly, or is otherwise not in conformity with the contract. See our Refund Policy for full details.

10. Ownership and risk

Ownership of, and risk in, an Item passes to you upon successful delivery of the Item to your Steam account. Until full payment is received we retain all rights in the Item. Because Items exist within Steam and the applicable game, your use and enjoyment of an Item is at all times subject to the terms, rules and continued availability of Valve Corporation and Steam.

11. Availability, pricing errors and cancellation by us

All Items are subject to availability. Despite our reasonable efforts, an Item may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a technical or human error. Where an obvious pricing or description error affects an Order, we are not obliged to supply the Item at the incorrect price and may cancel the Order and refund any amount paid.

We may also cancel an Order where the Item is no longer available, where required by law, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these Terms.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to attempt to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose, including money laundering or the use of stolen payment instruments;
  • submit false information, impersonate any person, or use another person’s payment method or Steam account without authorisation;
  • initiate unjustified chargebacks or payment reversals in bad faith;
  • use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service, or interfere with its security or operation; or
  • resell, exploit or use Items in breach of Valve’s or Steam’s terms.

We may suspend or terminate access, cancel Orders, and take further action (including reporting to the relevant authorities) where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

13. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Steam and our payment providers. Your use of Steam is governed by Valve Corporation’s own terms, and delivery of Items depends on the availability and rules of the Steam platform. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, downtime or policy changes of these third parties, but we will use reasonable efforts to complete your Order or, where that is not possible, to refund you in accordance with our Refund Policy.

14. Intellectual property

All content on the Service that we own or license — including text, layout, graphics, logos and software — is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied or used without our prior written permission. “Counter-Strike”, “CS2”, “Steam” and related names, marks and in-game assets are the property of Valve Corporation; they are used for descriptive purposes only, and we claim no rights in them.

15. Warranties and disclaimers

We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Except for the statutory rights that you have as a Consumer (which are not excluded or limited by these Terms), the Service is otherwise provided “as is” and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Items will always be available.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory statutory rights as a Consumer.

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, for loss arising from the acts of third parties such as Valve or Steam, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with any Order shall not exceed the total amount you paid for that Order.

If you use the Service other than as a Consumer, we exclude all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

17. Indemnity

Where you use the Service other than as a Consumer, you agree to indemnify us against reasonable losses, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service.

18. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Service, or cancel Orders, where you breach these Terms, where required by law, or where we reasonably need to protect the Service, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time.

19. Complaints and dispute resolution

We want you to be satisfied. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@crystalskins.store so we can try to put it right; our full process is set out in our Complaints Policy.

If we cannot resolve a dispute, Consumers have the right to use out-of-court dispute resolution. The competent body for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in the Czech Republic is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), www.coi.cz. EU Consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection. Where you are a Consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Otherwise, the courts of the Czech Republic shall have jurisdiction.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, our Service or our business practices. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the “Last updated” date shown above. The Terms that apply to your Order are those in force at the time you place it. Material changes will take effect on publication and, where required, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

22. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the policies they reference, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign ours where your rights are not adversely affected.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Language. These Terms are provided in English, which is the governing language of the agreement.
